Kitsuné’s first ready to wear collection was launched by Masaya Kuroki in spring / summer 2005 at the Paris venue Palais de Tokyo. Defining the new classic with distinguished clothing for men and women, of the highest quality for everyday life.

-Cotton oxford shirts – made in Italy, by a napolitan Sartoria.
-Raw & used selvich denim jeans made in Japan in Okayama on original machines from the 40’s
A special care is given to the quality of the fabrics and the tailoring of the garments – strategic sourcing of factories that still embrace artesian methods for a durable and timeless product. Combining the philosophy of tradition - with a modern attitude and shapes for clothing that last.
« In architecture, piers spend more time working on the structures, the foundation and the materials before studying the outlook. This is how I work on the clothing, I’m not looking for proportions which are too tight or too loose – but just right for today’s environment » explains Masaya Kuroki ‘ I’m not trying to create something new but to master the standards.
Born in 1975 in Tokyo, Masaya Kuroki moved to Paris at the age of 12 and settled into French culture and life. Graduate as architect dplg in 1999. The result of his Franco-Japanese upbringing and his architectural studies Kuroki was obsessed by style of – quality - pure lines and sharp details. He has gracefully switched from one creative field to another and has brought to fashion design an unusual outlook that stems from his architectural studies.
Founded in 2002, Kitsuné has gained considerable notoriety over the past five years for their collaborations with Pierre Hardy, Colette, APC, New balance, Martin Margiela, Hussein Chalayan and have gained recognition in the designer clothing market in some of the most renowned boutiques worldwide: Jeffrey, Colette, Loveless, Le Bon Marche, Dover Street Market, Bloomingdales, 10 Corso Como, LaneCrawford, etc..
